Arizona!

Greg and I got the chance to visit Arizona last week. It has been way too long since we have seen friends and family, and it was a great trip. When we were passing St. George I realized that the camera was sitting at home on the desk...great. I tried to at least getting a picture of our hotel off of google, but it loaded like this...

Super tiny! lol. Anyway,here is a recap of our vaca week:

Monday: Doctor, Rent-a-car place where they were out of the cheap cars that we had reserved so they upgraded us to an SUV for free! It was pretty sweet. We left for AZ at 11:00 our time, drove a lot, and arrived at our hotel at 8:30 AZ time. We hadn't eaten since noon, so we ordered Dominos and the movie "Green Lantern" from out hotel room.

Tuesay: We visited some of the Perkins family, went to lunch with AJ Perkins (my AZ sister), and then met at a yummy mexican restaurant called Pedro's to have a big family dinner. It was super delicious, and super fun to see everyone! We both were very spoiled, and were given birthday gifts. We hung out there for a while, and then headed to chill with more Perkins family. We got back to the hotel around midnight and crashed.

Wednesday: We hung out with Aaron and Janesse for a while, visited with mamma Kathy and Aunt Jean, and then went out to dinner with more family. We went to Logan's Steakhouse where you eat peanuts, and then drop the shells on the floor. It seemed so weird to me so I just piled them on a little plate. My father-in-law took my plate and dumped the shells on the floor. lol. It was pretty funny. We hung out a little bit more, and then headed back to the hotel.

Thursday: We packed up, ate, and started the drive home. We did stop in Beaver on the way home to pick up some very squeeky cheese, and fresh ice cream. Poor Greg was dying and this point. He had caught whatever sickness I had had. We got home in the evening and gave big hugs to our cat-babies.

It was a great trip that I hope we will be able to do again soon. We love getting to see everyone. The only bad part of the trip was taking the SUV back to the rental place. I did not want my junky car back. lol. I was then spoiled all weekend by my sweet hubby, but that is for a different post...
