Best Valentine's Weekend ever

Our Valentine's weekend started on Friday. Greg got home from work around 5 and we went four our run. Then we came home, showered, and got all fancied up. Greg got down on one knee, took my hand, and asked it I would accompany him to the Valentine's dance. It still makes my heart melt when I think about it. I can't believe how sweet my husband is. :) (oh p.s. The church was having a stake adult Valentine's dance.) We were about half an hour late, but we got to learn the tail-end of the fox-trot. Then, the instructors left and the lights were turned down. They had the gym decorated so fancy! Icicle lights were drooping down from the ceiling, it was very romantic. At first, we tried to do the fox-trot, then we said bag it. We danced our own little dance. The only bad thing is they kept playing slow, mushy songs. Normally, this would be fine, but since we had both just had a long day, and then went for a run, we were exhausted. We enjoyed dancing for a while, and then we decided to rest for a while. Then the song "Footloose" came on. Finally! An upbeat song! We had a blast dancing to that one. Greg spun me around so many times! There were a few more songs and then we decided that we needed some food. We left the dance at about 8:30 and ordered some subs from Papa Kelsey's. We picked them up and devoured them while we watched "The Office".
On Saturday we woke up, did our run, showered, and got ready for Cracker Barrell!! This is my favorite! We both ordered our own food and then got some blueberry pancakes to share. Mmm, so yummy! Then we went home and pretty much vegged the rest of the day. It was great.
Other than that we are doing really well. Greg is kicking put in his class. He took two quizes yesterday and got 17/18 on one and 18/18 on the other. I'm doing well in school, and my internship interview is scheduled for February 25 at 1:15. I hope I get it! Greg and I have been getting ready for the half-marathon in June we are up to 3 or 4.5 miles almost every day. Greg has lost 10 pounds and I have lost 4. We are both very happy for all that we have right now.
Oh, and I almost forgot! Look what I got today!

These are my new running shoes. I have been running on cheap wal-mart shoes and my knees have really been hurting. I'm hoping having good shoes will make a big difference.

Here's another pic just for fun. lol.
