The Battle for #1

So my teacher gave out progress reports for my math class about two weeks ago. I noticed at the top, shining next to my final grade, that it said, "Rank: 2". Yea! This made me so happy. I decided that I was going to work my butt off to try and beat the number 1 guy/gal. I have been studying for my tests like a mad-person, and working really hard on my assignments. Then, the unthinkable happened. Moira got sick, and I had to miss school to take her to the vet. I thought that I was definatly beaten. We took a test, and another progress-report followed a few days later. The top read, "Rank: 1". Haha, sucker!!!!! I don't know who you are, but you have just been squashed!! It has actually made that class 10x more fun to make it into a contest. I do have one more test tomorrow, and then my final is on Thursday night. I have already completed the last of my assignments, and I am going to be studying furiously these last few days so that I can keep my rank....you are going down! tee hee
