A big sigh, and apple pie

First: Thanks to all for their prayers about my mom. She is doing great. They think that they did get all of the cancer out, and I got to see a pretty crazy picture of it. It was bigger than the guys hand!! Anyway, they checked her lymph nodes, and it doesn't look like it spread. I'm so glad, I don't know what I would do without my sweet mother.

Well, the end of the term is nearly here. I took my last test for math (except the final), and just about everything else is done for the semester. We are just getting ready for wonderful finals now. Things have been so crazy this semester. It feels good to have the end in sight. (Oh, and I am having a rather tastey piece of apple pie right now!) I applied to the Elementary Education Program, and I recieved my letter last week that I had made it in. I start in the fall, and I can't wait!

We will also be either closing on our house today, or dropping the whole thing all together. If anybody had told us a few months ago that buying a house was going to be this big of a pain, we may have re-considered. Anyway, we are hoping for the best, and we will be sending many pictures if we do close today.

*Nerd alert* (the following is nerdy, but I love it)
The highlight of my week was going to the Orem library last Thursday. I got a library card, and devoured childrens fiction section. I had to find some fiction on the underground railroad for my children's Literature class. I went to check out and they have these amazing machines!! You put in your library card, pin number, and just set the stack of books onto the counter. The computer then can read the titles...just from you putting them on the counter!! I didn't even have to do them one and a time. It was amazing!! All the way to my car I was thinking how amazing the world is that we live in today.
