For Halloween this year, we went to some friends house to have a Clue murder mystery party. All of the Clue characters had been taken, so Greg and I got to make up our own. I was a Scottish constible (I can't spell) named Pheona (inspired by "Burn Notice" hehe) and Greg was an english MI6 agent. They made a seven course dinner!! First we had a delicious spinach salad, then spinach balls, cream of broccoli soup, chicken parmessan with rolls, sorbet, and a parfait for dessert. We also had three different kinds of sparkling cider. It was absolutely delicious. It was so much fun being in character and making small talk with all of the fancy dressed people. Then we went to the different rooms, and heard a scream! Mr. Body had been hung. (Mr. Body was played by a stuffed dog). We then went to the Lounge and had to interigate different people. I won with Mrs. Peacock in the study with the rope!!! Haha, it was so so much fun to pretend to be someone else while everyone else was getting into it too. It reminded me of why being a kid was so much fun.
We did also go to Spaghetti Factory on Friday night. It felt so nice to go out on a fancy date. We even got the romantic little spot in the corner of the restaurant. We have been trying to save money, so I think that was the first time we went out in three(ish) months.
My teacher's aid thing is going pretty well. It is definately different then I thought it would be, but I feel like I learn a little bit more every week.
We took our yearly girly trip to Gardener village. It was great!! We ate at the mill as usual, and walked around to all of the shops. I got the most gorgeous music box. It is clear with a flower cameo on it, and it plays "Blue Danube". There are few things that I love more than music boxes. There was one that was $275 that I really loved. It played the nutcracker ballet songs, but the stage would change just like you were watching a little miniature show. Amazing, but way to rich for my blood. I also got another fancy hankerchief for my collection, and a cocunt almond cup the size of my fist. Greg and I shared it when I got home. :)
October treated us very well!! Happy Halloween to everyone!!
Two thumbs way up for an excellent Halloween!
